Lately I have been fielding questions in regards to Catering in South East QLD during the current Covid 19 restrictions and guidelines. We are very fortunate in South East QLD that we are still able to hold events and carry on almost back to normal environments with in reason.

When booking Catering with Nutmeg and Pepper Catering we require a Contact less drop zone for our DIY Catering. What is the DIY Catering - just in case you haven't booked with us before...DIY Catering is where you Order our Catering options, We Cook and Deliver with Heating instructions and you Heat and Serve. It requires no staff and is very simple and an easy/economical way to Cater for Birthday, Anniversary, Family Gathering, Wake, Engagement and other Events. Everything you need is packed into the Catering Boxes including dipping sauces and garnish. You can choose to serve from our Eco Friendly Catering Boxes or transfer to your own platters.

Booking a full Staffed Event: We require as much notice as possible and all our menu options are available including our Food Truck. You can have up to 100 pax if holding the event in your own yard or premises or use the 1 person per square meter rule if holding the event at a public or private event space. Our Event Planner, Lisa can help you with this. We require a table set up for all guests to sign in and use Sanitiser on arrival. We keep hold of the information and only hand in private information if requested by QLD Health.

Border Closure and What it means for your Event: At the moment with the Border being closed off we assure all our current clients and those who wish to pre-book events that once you have paid your deposit - if you need to change dates for your event we are putting on more staff to accommodate you when we are able to hold your function so please feel relaxed in knowing what ever date you end up choosing you will have priority. This week we are proud to let you know we have a couple of new Chefs and Wait Staff who are now in training to provide the same quality food and service you have grown to know and expect from us.

Our Staff are temperature checked at the beginning of every shift and fill out the required Food Handling paperwork and declaration as required by us, even before Covid 19, our staff have been required to fill this out.

When handling food our staff will use Gloves and or Sanitising Hand Wash that is brought with us on every shift. Masks will be worn on request or if a hot spot is recognised.

You can order your food with peace of mind - Nutmeg and Pepper take your health and the health of our Staff very serious at all time not just during Covid 19.
