The Easter Season and Holidays are fast approaching...why not plan ahead and make it easy to keep the kids amused whilst giving the adult kids a little bit of a break...

Here are a few great ideas to keep your kids occupied during the Easter Holiday period. Please email us your favourite Kids Easter activities and we will add it to our list to share with others.

  1. Give the Kids a Set of Coloured Pencils and Cardboard and ask them to create a perfect Menu for the Easter Bunny.
  2. Buy a set of Plastic Chocolate Egg Moulds from Spotlight or Cooking Store and Melt your own chocolate to make eggs. It is rather easy and the kids can put surprises in the middle of their handcrafted Easter Eggs. My sister used chopped licorice in the Eggs she made for us as kids. You can buy foil to wrap the Eggs up in or simply put a nice ribbon around the outside. Make sure you store them in the fridge so they don't melt.
  3. Create a platter full of fruit pieces in different shapes and get the kids to make their own fruit skewers. Melt some dark chocolate for them to dip it in to eat.
  4. Create a backyard cinema using a projector and a sheet on the clothes line or wall backdrop. Create healthy Easter treats like popcorn sprinkled with Cinnamon Sugar or Layered Jelly Cups with Fresh Fruit pieces and topped with Yoghurt and Dark Chocolate 70%plus Organic.
  5. Get the kids to create a Bunny Obstacle Course out of pillows and other soft furnishings... the object is to hop around the course like a bunny. For even more fun get them to make their own bunny ears and paws.
