I often get asked how we make our Cinnamon Macadamia Butter... here is our simple to make recipe that is sooo tasty you will find several ways to use it.
250ml Organic Full Fat Cream
1 tsp Organic Cinnamon
2 tbsp Organic Macadamia Nuts, lightly crushed
1/4 tsp Himalayan Pink Salt, ground fine
In a food processor - whip the cream and salt until it forms solids.
Take the solids out of the food processor and squeeze through a muslin or clean chux cloth to eliminate any excess milk.
Place the solids into a small bowl with the cinnamon and macadamia nuts. Use a metal spoon to work the ingredients together.
Place the mix into a plastic zip lock back and freeze until ready to use or use straight away.
We use this mix in our Kibbeh (on the Autumn Finger Food Menu coming up in March), we also use this on Fish, in desserts or melt it and use on a sweet or savoury pasta dish.
